6/2/2023 0 Comments Go set a watchman book![]() ![]() ![]() In this article, I will focus on one of the characters, Atticus Finch, his attitudes as presented in “Go set a watchman”, how he views black people in both the film and the novel, and my opinion on his defense of Tom Robinson. Atticus, as portrayed in the film, is a principled man, who played a significant role in setting an example for his children a man who upheld peace, controlled every situation and taught his children the true meaning of courage and moral values. From a general view, Harper shows that becoming a good person and father is a hard task which can only be achieved by a few in the racial setting. She includes features of many characters who, appear in both works, but in different versions. ![]() It features characters who, appear in both the film and the book. Harper Lee, who is also the author of the novel “Go, set a watchman” tries to talk about the racial tension and discrimination that is experienced and brewed in the south. To Kill a Mockingbird is an award-winning American drama film written by Harper Lee and directed By Robert Mulligan in 1960. ![]()
